Aims And Scope

LIMITATIONS: Journal Of Contemporary Perspectives aims to disseminate original and high-quality research results in the fields of social sciences and humanities. This journal is a forum for researchers, academics, educators, students, and practitioners to publish empirical, theoretical, and methodological studies that contribute to the understanding of social and humanitarian phenomena in various contexts, especially in Indonesia and the Southeast Asian region.

This journal also encourages interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary approaches that enrich the analysis of complex issues, and open up space for critical perspectives that challenge conventional boundaries in the social sciences and humanities.

LIMITATIONS: Journal Of Contemporary Perspectives accepts manuscripts from various branches of social sciences and humanities that study various social, cultural, economic, political, and linguistic phenomena. The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to:

1. Sociology

• • The study of social structure, social interaction, social mobility, stratification, and social institutions.
  • Analysis of contemporary social issues such as urbanization, social conflict, marginalization, and social change.

2. Anthropology

• • The study of cultural identity, community practices, customs, and cultural transformations.
  • Ethnographic and comparative studies across cultures, both in local and global contexts.

3. Social Psychology

• • The exploration of individual and group behavior in social contexts, including attitudes, norms, social perceptions, stereotypes, and intergroup dynamics.
  • The study of social identity, power relations, and psychological constructions in society.

• • The analysis of historical events, political transitions, socio-cultural transformations, and historiographic interpretations.

LIMITATIONS: Journal Of Contemporary Perspectives encourages the publication of articles that are based on original research, analytical in nature, and provide conceptual contributions to the development of social sciences and humanities. This journal is also open to articles written in Indonesian or English, with special attention to the relevance of local contexts that have global implications.
